What Do You Focus On?

focus

Focusing on the best thing to do right now is great if you are not able to focus at all.

Focusing on a plan for the week is better than focusing on the now all the time.

Focusing on your next 6 months starts to set your thinking in a better direction, than week to week.

Focusing on what you want to do this next year will make it easier to see you reaching your next level of thinking.
If focusing on the year is a great goal to do then why do you live in the moment?

The answer is you need to be able to take both approaches at different times in your personal growth, one or the other approach will not work effectively, being flexible to recognise when to use which approach is the key.

Here are the dangers or pick one or the other approach;

Being in the moment will overwhelm you, because you will not work to a plan, a final outcome for each of these moments you are focused on. Only reacting to what needs to be done now.

Only working to a plan will not work without feedback from taking action to adjust the plan, so you reach your final outcome. You become stuck in working the plan, whether it works or not. The important part of the plan is to reach the outcome, this is why you need feedback from taking action in the moment.

Focusing on which is best the approach that achieves the outcome and the situation will predicate the approach to take.
